The Opportunity:
Join our Mail department as a Mail Clerk III, where you'll play a pivotal role in sorting and delivering United States Postal Service mail and inter-departmental mail pieces to University departments, student housing, satellite campuses, and Greek Park residences on campus. This position oversees the sorting, metering, and staging of outgoing mail.
Responsibilities:
Provide courier services for the delivery of regular, accountable, and time-sensitive mail pieces and supplies to and from UCF departments, student residents, and satellite campuses.
Maintain a working knowledge of proper USPS procedures to ensure appropriate handling of time-sensitive and accountable mail pieces.
Sort and stage incoming USPS and inter-departmental mail pieces, ensuring accuracy and consistency in sorting, staging, and delivery.
Process outgoing mail using high-speed mail metering machinery, preparing various types of mail for delivery.
Assist other Business Services areas with logistics support, including the collection and distribution of materials for Surplus Property, the Print Shop, and Retail Operations.
Use various systems for tracking and reconciliation of parcels or items, ensuring adherence to safety and data security regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

Health Assessment Required:
UCF policy requires completion and passing of a physical exam for this position.
