PRI is currentlyhiring individuals to fill Mail and Data Clerk Violations Processor/CustomerService positions in Philadelphia, PA. Main duties will be operating our print and mail machines for speed camera and red light violations for the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) and the state of Pennsylvania. Work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm. Pay is set by our customer at $16.17 per hour. Full-time benefits include accrued paidtime off, sick leave, paid Federal holidays, health insurance, dental, vision,AD&D, and life insurance. We also set up a Fidelity 401K.
This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates mail machinesincluding the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding andinserting machine.
- Processes and weighsoutgoing mail.
- Maintains records ofreceipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
- Replenishes postage onthe postage meter as needed.
- Print, package, seal,weigh, affix postage and dispatch all outgoing mail/packages in accordance withcompany and postal regulations.
- Lift and move full mail bins, sort, and processincoming mail.
- Open, scan, andprocess inbound customer correspondence.
- Log outgoing andincoming items as required and review for accuracy/completeness.
- Prepare monthlyproduction and volume reports in order to measure productivity and preparebilling charges.
- Performs otheradministrative office duties as assigned.
Data Clerk:
- Process speed violations, using web basedtools.
- Take inbound customer telephone calls.
- Gathers information from the caller toproperly resolve the situation. Communicate appropriate options for resolution.
- Open, scan, and process inbound customercorrespondence.
- Handles and reconciles the walk-in violationpayments to include checks, money orders, credit card, and cash payments.
- Operates keyboard or other data entry deviceto enter data into computer. May manipulate existing data, editcurrent information, or proofread new entries in database foraccuracy. May compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to beentered.
- Meet production and quality goals.
- Performs other administrative office duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from time to time if mail bins are full.
- Mail Experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsand ability to work effectively with different groups of people in a teamenvironment.
- Strong communication, both verbal and written,and the ability to determine the proper medium of communication based on issuesat hand.
- Quality driven, strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist whereverneeded.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office(Word and Excel) with the ability to learn and navigate a variety of computersystems/software.
- 2+ years of experience in an officeenvironment performing clerical duties including inbound mail processing,outbound mail processing, data entry, quality control, and related administrativeduties.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meetall assigned deadlines in a rapidly changing and high-pressure environment.
- Customer service experience and/or call centerenvironment experience a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drugtest.
