Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk, with prior experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Data Entry skills and be familiar with routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Experience with PLEX software is a plus. The primary responsibility of the Data Entry Clerk will be to accurately input and maintain data within our ERP system, ensuring integrity and consistency of information.
Responsibilities:
- Input and maintain data accurately and efficiently into the ERP system.
- Verify and cross-reference data for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and checks within the ERP system.
- Assist in identifying and resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Generate reports and extract data from the ERP system as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data flow across different departments.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for Data Entry and management.
- Provide support and training to colleagues on ERP Data Entry processes as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes and updates to the ERP system, adapting to new features and functionalities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in Data Entry and typing skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., PLEX, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with basic office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of data management best practices.
- Certification or training in ERP systems administration or data management is a plus.
Local candidates preferred. No relocation assistance.
