THE ROLE

THE ROLE
As a Logistics Coordinator, you play a crucial role as the primary on-site contact between John Varvatos and the 3PL team, offering valuable insights into warehouse operations. Your responsibilities encompass maintaining seamless communication with the warehouse team, updating reports and spreadsheets regularly, and ensuring the reliable flow of information to relevant departments. You will handle diverse tasks, such as creating commercial and pro forma invoices, enforcing returns standards, assisting the customer service team, and coordinating supply orders to the Distribution Center (DC).

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Maintaining consistent communication with the warehouse team.
Updating daily and weekly reports, conveying information to relevant departments.
Creating commercial and pro forma invoices.
Enforcing returns standards for wholesale/retail partners.
Assisting the customer service team with cancellations and other customer requests.
Ensuring shipping guidelines adherence for all channels and partners.
Coordinating the ordering of supplies to the DC.
Working with retail teams to ensure best delivery practices with UPS.
Assisting with logistics preparation for company events, including Season Launches, Special Events, Store Openings, Seasonal and EComm sales, Store Closings, Sample Sales, etc.
Aiding in onboarding new partners and confirming shipping guidelines compliance by 3PL.
Updating HTS codes.
Monitoring pick tickets to ensure allocations and orders are shipping within correct windows.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills for handling significant export/import volume.
Ability to work well in both team and individual environments.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, dependable with deliverables and deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Excellent customer service and client relation skills.

EXPERIENCE:
Strong working knowledge of a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple projects, taking initiative, and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
