Reporting to the Director of Coffee Purchasing, the Green Coffee Logistics Coordinator is responsible for tracking and reporting coffee shipments and deliveries from vendors, and the accurate and timely receipt and payment of coffee invoices. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with the Green Coffee Analyst in forecasting production needs and managing the release and transfer of coffee in the volume and assortment required for weekly production.

- Tracks import shipments from coffee suppliers to ensure timely deliveries according to Green Coffee contracts
- Manages all receiving and inventory transactions in DAX
- Reviews and authorizes payment for coffee, logistics and warehouse vendor invoices
- Company lead for coffee shipment loss, damage, and inspection claims
- Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting of coffee deliveries and compliance against contract
- Supports Green Coffee data management in proprietary Green Coffee handling system
- Builds and maintains productive working relationships with vendors
- Assists Green Coffee Analyst in forecasting production needs and managing Green Coffee Logistics from warehouse to plant in volume and assortment required for production
- Other supply chain assignments as required
- Experience in import logistics, commodity experience preferred
- Knowledge of import and customs clearance procedures
- Accounting experience and understanding of general accounting principles a plus
- Understanding of raw materials planning, inventory management and purchasing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel as well as experience with ERP systems
- Highly adaptable and able to contribute to a team environment
