Title of Position:Logistics Coordinator
Immediate Supervisor: Warehouse Manager
FLSA: Exempt
In Case of Absence: Warehouse Manager and or Front Office Staff.
Pay starts at $22.00-$30.00/hr DOE.
Schedule is Monday-Friday day shift.
Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating timely and accurate shipments. Prepare documents based on customer requirement and identify any shipment errors.
Key Duties:
• Coordinate and manage inbound & outbound shipments.
• Weighing inbound/outbound trucks and directing to appropriate docks
• Process documents for each order based on customer requirements.
• Submit customer shipment notifications via customer's portal as requested.
• Solve problems by communicating with other team members.
• Assist with creating shipment files and order tags.
• Process ecommerce orders within 48hrs and provide accounting with documents.
• Maintain physical online inventory for ecommerce.
• Assist with QA documents for receiving files; if not received within 24hrs follow up with the dock.
• Complete grower draws as requested by Grower Services Department
• Process chep pallets
• Overseeing POD for Accounting and identify any shorted PODs to escalate with management.
• Maintain supplies of packing lists and seals
• Presenting a positive attitude and professional appearance
• Communicating with carriers to maintain the daily schedule.
• Reschedule orders for trucks that miss their appointment and own the communication for all orders onsite.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Other Duties as assigned.
Safety and Plant Policies & Regulations
• Understand and comply with Cal-Osha regulations and Company policies as they pertain to the safety of all employees.
• Read, understand, and acknowledge company policies as written in the Employee Handbook.
• All employees are required to adhere to all Food Safety requirements and programs including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Defense and Allergen Programs. Food safety training will be completed a minimum of once a year.
