Job Title: Logistics coordinator
Reports To: Logistics Manager
Position Summary
The Logistics coordinator will work on the Logistics Team and report to the Logistics Manager. This position will plan and coordinate domestic and international trucking shipment pickup and delivery in north America.
Essential Functions
1. Work with trucking company to arrange truck pickup and delivery.
2. Collect and compare trucking rates from the local trucking company.
3. Allocate trucking delivery to fulfill the customers PO.
4. Create POD and finish POD processing in SAP.
5. Confirm the receipt of delivery receiving.
6. Review and approval of all transportation trucking vendors invoices.
7. Generate shipping plan and weekly report.
8. Maintain the reports necessary to keep all information updated.
9. Other job duties requested by LGMG from time to time.

Not applicable.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, with minimal warehouse environment exposure. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

4105 Live Oak Dr Suite 100, The Colony TX 75056 or other locations designated by LGMG North America.
Travel
No travel required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in domestic and international transportation.
- Strong proficiency in MS
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
· Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution industry.
