Logistics Coordinator

EHC is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator for a client located in Houston, TX.

Job Duties:

• Overseeing all daily operation form both customer handling and operation's perspective
• Organizing and managing 3PLs and service providers operation / documentation
• Analyzing & optimizing logistical process to provide best in class service to current & future customers
• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders and other operation documentation
• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
• Strongly support to business development and brokerage teams to develop customer's base
• Answering customer inquiries, both timely and efficiently
• Understanding of various logistics KPIs and its impact on the day-to-day operation progress
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues via close monitoring inventory levels
• Monitor & evaluate 3PL performance

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's Degree required preferably in business administration, logistics or related field
• 2+ years of experience in logistics management required
• Excellent team player
• Strong planning skill
• Account management and customer service experience
• Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Generic understanding of ERP systems and how it operates
• Good management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Logistics Management: 2 years (Required)
