The Lotus Agency is a small transportation agency in Houston, TX. We have a fun, positive, high energy, driven, supportive, fast paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance of shipment tracking spreadsheets for customers.
- Maintain daily customer quoting logs, noting trends and tracking success of quotes and awarded loads.
- Build carrier base to expand resources for better servicing customers
- Utilize various resources for quoting customers quickly and with competitive rates
- Posting loads on load boards
- Monitor emails to ensure all things are flowing efficiently
- Solution and problem solving focused
- Find efficiencies to increase profit margins and expand business
- Proactive communication with customers
- Follow up with operations and carriers on shipment updates
- Follow up with customers and carriers on paperwork as needed
- Misc other support functions
Required skills and qualifications:
Must be fluent in English & Spanish
Must have experience in trucking and logistics
Positive attitude & self motivated to achieve goals
Ability to prioritize tasks in an environment with a high level of activity
Exceptional customer service - to include both written and verbal communication
Excellent detail and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Windows, Outlook
Education: Must have highschool diploma or GED.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
