Responsibilities
- The position will work through data entry, email monitoring, reporting, and various other duties as required to ensure all shipments are executed in accordance with planning
- Work cross functionally across multiple team to on flow of goods to align with order management and the traffic team to ensure timely shipping of goods
- Monitor (Track and Trace) multiple shipments to ensure the timely flow of goods and detect/communicate any disruptions in the supply chain flows for assigned pos
- Maintain and record all shipment documents in our ERP and ensure the continual update and accuracy of all shipments
- Coordinate with Freight Forwarders, brokers and 3pl to ensure the execution of all planned movements and flows for FOB orders including, scheduling deliveries, booking shipments and, ensuring execution of confirmed shipments.
- Coordinate and follow up with Vendors on all po flows from production for DDP orders
- Work closely with DC/Traffic to identify and resolve any problems that occur in the operational flow of orders
- Work with our logistics partners to track and fix shipping errors
- Maintain and prepare weekly reporting to identify/resolve/review problems in the weekly supply chain meeting
- Management of all shipping documents and their submission to the correct parties.
Requirements
- 2+ Years in Ocean imports in the apparel industry or BA or BS from accredited University (With emphasis in supply chain or related field) preferred
- Ability to solve complex issues, create new ideas and define new ways to move forward
- Strong decision making skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency with the flexibility to make adjustments based on priority changes
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and, follow through to resolve outstanding issues
- Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment.
- Mandatory - Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office and knowledgeable about ERPs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
$24 - $30 / Hour + Bonus
