General Summary
Responsible for preparing loan documentation for commercial, consumer, Capital Advantage, and agricultural loans whether secured or unsecured. Ensure that documents are complete accurate and in place to provide the bank a perfected security interest on collateral taken to secure the loan.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures.
- Prepare appropriate loan documents after receiving instructions from the loan officer.
- Review file for needed information and compliance documentations.
- Prepare checklist noting any omissions or exceptions.
- Deliver original note and other necessary documents for booking to appropriate personnel.
- Review returned file for any exceptions to the checklist.
- Prepare documents for scanning and send complete files to compliance review.
- Assist customers with inquiries pertaining to loans in process and direct them to the appropriate loan officer or department.
- Verify appropriate approval and ensure compliance with bank approved policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
Skills and Abilities Required
Physical Requirements- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as the capacity to learn and efficiently utilize various other computer programs.
- Ability to multitask and provide quality work within specific time frames.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and capability in handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Busy environment with varied noise and at times of heavy distraction.
- Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour workweek.
- Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time to process work.
- Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10+ pounds.
- Constantly operates a computer, a calculator, copy machine, printer, and other office equipment.
