QUALIFICATIONS: Some college education and/or related work experience in professional office

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: at least 2 years working in an office setting or in customer service
JOB DUTIES: Answering phones; client intake/interviewing; drafting letters; preparing court documents and pleadings; interaction with clients; managing firm's calendar & scheduling for attorney; handling 75+ case files; administrative tasks; organize files physically/electronically; interacting with court system; billing/invoicing clients; coordinating tasks; scanning documents; managing/organizing discovery documents; processing incoming/outgoing mail; input and update file activity on case manager system; communicate regularly with court and medical personnel and other agencies; trial preparation, including compiling evidence and creating trial physical and electronic notebook; if attorney is in trial, assistant must be flexible to assist attorney in the courtroom for trial hours that may be longer than a typical 5 hour work day at the office (trials may occur once every 2 months on an average basis).
