Paralegal - Legal Secretary

Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnered with a prominent legal practice in New Orleans to identify a talented Paralegal-Legal Secretary! This position encompasses both traditional paralegal and secretarial responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

3 or more years of experience required, as described below:

-Provides direct support to litigation team.

-Reviews and summarizes deposition transcripts and medical records.

-Prepares legal documents and correspondence.

-Performs dictation transcription.

-Performs deposition transcription.

-Coordinates appointments and deadlines on behalf of litigation team.

-Prepares various pleadings and subpoenas.

-Monitors minimum monthly billable requirements to ensure targets are consistently exceeded.

-Preference of previous insurance litigation experience and/or knowledge of intellectual property, casualty insurance defense, securities, and other general insurance defense.

-Legal Case Management software experience required.

3 or more years of paralegal-legal support experience.
