Legal Secretary

Medical malpractice defense law firm located in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a full time Legal Secretary/assistant.

Position is required to provide litigation assistance to one or more attorneys. Must be able to draft, edit and proofread pleadings and discovery, litigation reports, correspondence and judicial forms. File documents with courts via e-filing or mail. Maintain and organize attorneys’ calendars. Schedule, coordinate and arrange meetings and depositions. Assist with trial preparation.

Candidate must have at least 4-5 years legal secretarial experience. Organization and attention to detail is essential. Competent with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, cloud-based filing software. Knowledge of ProLaw is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
