Paralegal/Legal Secretary

Opening for an experienced bilingual paralegal or legal secretary at a plaintiff's personal injury firm located in El Segundo area.

Only candidates with 5+ years of experience as a personal injury litigation legal secretary and/or paralegal will be considered. No candidates with only pre-litigation experience will be considered.

The position also requires the ability to perform all of the following:

• filing pleadings and other documents with the court;
• stay up to date on court rules and procedures;
• litigation calendaring;
• drafting templates and working with clients and the handling attorney to propound and answer discovery;
• supporting multiple attorneys;
• drafting letters to opposing counsel;
• assisting in trial preparation, including preparing and filing trial documents;
• communicating with clients;
• working with other support staff to manage the firm's cases;
• ensuring case files are complete;
• utilizing case management software; and
• communicating with Spanish-speaking clients

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a personal injury litigation legal secretary and/or paralegal required.

Location: In-office. Hybrid schedule may be considered after 2 months of employment.
