SalaryWe are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to one attorney's needs.
- Perform transcription duties. Strong typing skills are necessary.
- Assist with real estate transactions, sales and purchases, from start to finish
- Draft court documents and submit online
- Draft zoning petitions
- Prepare wills and trusts
- Communicate directly with clients
- Work in a team environment with 3 other assistants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary is preferred
- Strong typing skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.78 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
