```Duties```
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
Prepare correspondence and legal documents
- File and organize legal documents and maintain case files
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorney
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases
- Assist in trial preparation
- Assist attorney in reviewing and analyzing documents as part of case and/or trial preparation.
```Experience```
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal or working in a professional office is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal drafting and formatting of legal documents is a plus
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus
Familiarity with the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure a plus
Ability to work independently
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced legal environment, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and have a strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
