Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

A well-established insurance defense firm, has an opening in its Baton Rouge office for an experienced, talented Legal Assistant with attention-to-detail and a great team attitude!
As a Legal Assistant, you will assist attorneys with trials and litigation matters by typing, proofreading, calendaring, drafting and/or summarizing legal documents, etc.
To thrive in this role, you must have law firm experience, preferably in insurance defense, and have knowledge of legal practices, terminology, and court procedures. It would be great if you have worked with an electronic file management system (i.e. Worldox) and/or billing software (i.e. Coyote).
Compensation commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, PTO, holidays.
