We are looking for someone to work full-time and every other Saturday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Leasing Agent is to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. This person will report to the Apartment Manager.
The following is a general list of key job duties and responsibilities in your position. The list is not to be considered inclusive and you will be required to perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned by an authorized supervisor.
- Understand property management standards including Fair Housing laws, Tenant/Landlord rights, and general real estate principles.
- Greet walk-in prospects and tenants.
- Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour community, and sign lease
- Assist with processing rent checks
- Translate for property manager as needed
- Answer telephone. Schedule showings, create work orders, etc.
- Screen applications for Manger’s approval. Complete landlord reference checks, criminal back-round check, and credit check.
- Process vendor invoices for submission and approval.
- Assist with lease renewals and non-renewal
- Receive/Send mail/packages and assure they are routed appropriately
- Keep inventory of office supplies and replenish as needed
- Keep office, common areas, and supply room clean and organized
- Tenant events - responsible for planning and coordination of all schedule tenant events at the property
- Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (i.e., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.)
- Manage Clubhouse rental
- Conducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and all necessary follow up needed
- Completes all leasing paperwork needed before move-in
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed
- Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
- Demonstrate excellent customer service during each encounter with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
- Monitor community, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas for superior curb appeal, general cleanliness, and organization.
- Seek feedback from residents and communicate information with the team.

- Must work 40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 am-6:00 pm on Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm (Hours are flexible and will be based on community need)
- Must show proof of or take a Fair Housing Class within the first 90 days of employment
