Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Medical Office Assistant at Flint Hills Pain Management, PA in Manhattan, KS. The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for various administrative tasks such as providing nonclinical administrative support, including: answering calls, scheduling appointments, and updating medical records. They are also required to verify medical insurance information and enter details into electronic billing systems. This job may have potential to move to full-time within the first year.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Experience in appointment scheduling and medical terminology
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes
• Strong administrative assistance skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Experience in a Medical Office setting is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using computer software and electronic medical records
