- Answer phones in a professional manner
- File, scan, copy, fax, documents, email updates, request records and Affidavits, request reports, assist the attorneys, send LOR/LOP, etc
- Organizes records and documents
- Makes copies of paperwork and distributes as needed
- Creates new files and collects data on forms
- Secures and protects the privacy of documents
- Knowledge of legal billing and case management software is a plus (MyCase, Clio)
Job Description: The Jakob Law Firm, P.C. is looking to hire a Front Office Receptionist and Filing Clerk. Job Duties are as follows: Greet clients/potential clients as they walk into the office provide intake and assist them in a courteous manner. Answer phones in a professional manner. File, scan, copy, fax, documents, email updates, request records and documents, assist the attorney and paralegals, etc. File documents in client files. Meet with clients and communicate with clients regarding different matters, scheduling/ etc. Mail out correspondence to clients, assist attorneys and paralegals with finding files, filing files etc. Close files, provide clients with final closing documents, etc. Be professional & courteous. Strong communication skills. Must have a positive attitude. Be able to manage your time wisely meet deadlines & prioritize. Hours M-F 9:00a-3:00p. $15/hour.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
