What You'll Do:
- Assists with On-Campus Events
Assists with the coordination and execution of on-campus programs and events. Staffs on-campus programs and counsels prospective and admitted students at on-campus programs. - Represents College of Law and Counsels Prospective Students at Off-Campus Programs and in Information Sessions.
Counsels prospective and admitted law students about the application process through small-group information sessions, open houses and off-campus recruitment events, including travel off-campus and in the evenings and on weekends. - Assists with Communications Plans and Application Generation and Yield Strategies
Processes decisions and application generation queries. Updates website, on-campus program and recruitment materials and prospective and admitted student communications. Executes campaign emails. - Supports Office Operations
Assists in staffing the front desk and managing inboxes as needed. Assists in application processing and data record management. - Assists in managing student workers.
What You'll Need:
- A bachelor's degree required.
- 2 to 3 years of combined experience in recruiting, project management, or event planning preferred.
- Experience in college admission or in a university setting preferred.
- Weekend and evenings will be required to support the office and events. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience working effectively with students and diverse constituencies. Knowledge of admissions and DePaul University helpful.
- Physical requirements include arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard and to answer and transfer calls; occasional lifting, pushing up to 25 pounds; may be subject to walking, standing, reaching, balancing, bending, handling, climbing, vision, speech and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks. Employee must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
