Synapse House is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with brain injury and stroke. Our programs include a Clubhouse Day Program, Employment Services, Community Support Services for veterans and the KNZ NeuroFitness Gym.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families seeking admission to our programs.
- Gather and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history
- Schedule appointments and coordinate admissions process
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic systems
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth admissions process
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Market through presentations, resource fairs, Chamber events and various other events or outreach.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical administrative support role or similar position
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
