Kids Pastor Administrative Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our childrens classrooms and ensuring smooth service time functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling volunteers, contacting volunteers, and coordinating crafts, games, lessons, and supplies.
- Prepare and edit lessons for classrooms for ages ranging from 6 months-5th grade
- Maintain craft inventory and shop as needed
- Clean and organize classrooms, craft room, and storage closets.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
-Teach class during service times or fill in where needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with church members, volunteers, and parents.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Planning Center
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment
