Form of workThe Junior AR Specialist is an entry level role and will be working directly under the
finance department to reconcile, research, and process refunds. They will also
reconcile and research bank reconciliation transactions on the Accounts Receivables
side. This person will act as a backup role towards the other AR representatives,
helping fill the schedule as needed. They will also be training with the Senior AR rep
and AR Manager with the goal of becoming a regular AR specialist. This role will
require a sharp eye for detail and great critical thinking skills, as well as outstanding
morals and ethics.
Schedule: 30-40 hours - Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
Salary $18/hour DOE

Responsibility:
- Understand and live our company values
- Handle confidential patient information with discretion
- Assist other AR team members with workload as needed
- Train with Senior AR rep and/or AR Manager to learn the skills needed to
become a regular AR Representative
- Reconcile data across multiple sources into a weekly report to be given to the
CFO
- Accept refund forms from each center and enter a tracking system as well as
update tracking system as the process continues
- Research refund requests and communicate with the proper channels on
approval processes
- Communicate with financing companies on dispute requests and send proper
documentation when needed
- Work with other Finance and Data team members to reconcile and update
patient refund queues
- Reconcile various financial merchant deposits and fees to the corresponding
patients, ensuring that patient loans are processed by the center and
deposited within given parameters
- Use in-house software to enter and reconcile data and provide reports on
various metrics
- Attend a weekly meeting with the accounting manager to check in
- Able to learn and train on new software and procedures as the need arises
- Document new and existing policies and procedures
- Other tasks and obligations as necessary
Requirements:
-Strong attention to detail is a must
- Able to learn quickly and work accurately
- High sense of morals and ethics
- Critical thinker and self-starter, doesn't need to be micro-managed
Basic to intermediate understanding of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
- Able to adapt and change as the company grows and responsibilities grow
with it
- Friendly and positive with a team-oriented attitude, keeping communication
as a priority

Able to provide the most accurate and detail-oriented results possible. The company
should be able to trust in the work of this person, and they are able to meet
assigned deadlines as needed. Good quality data will be provided, with a focus on
being friendly and cooperative to the team and other individuals within the
company. Communication will be well-rounded at each turn. This person will help
other AR representatives with their tasks if needed, acting as a backup and aid to
fill the schedule. They will be training under the Senior AR Rep and AR Manager with
the goal of becoming a regular AR Representative in time.
