Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are searching for a full-time, motivated accountant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills for our construction business. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good computer skills. This position is larger than just your daily billing, paying and balancing, you will also be in charge of aspects of HR, benefits and also assist in project management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance background a plus
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus
- Previous experience in cost accounting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
