Jr. Account Specialist

Banko Overhead Doors has been serving West Central Florida since 1984, providing residential and commercial garage door products and services in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Polk, Orange and Hernando Counties. We are currently seeking experienced Full-Time Jr. Account Specialist that will assist our Inside Sales Team as a member of the Project Management Department.

About the Job

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Service, the Junior Sales Specialist is responsible for performing an array of duties such as assisting our sales professionals, as required, through the various stages of the selling process. As a part of this position, the Jr. Account Specialist will be trained in all sales processes, procedures, and duties pertaining to Inside Sales, with the opportunity of joining the Inside Sales Department in the future as the department grows.

Other Duties:

• Support Inside Sales with estimate tracking, follow-ups and maintenance of the department estimate tracker.
• Request shop drawings as needed from our manufacturer and submit them to customers for their review and approval.
• Review all orders with Inside Sales to verify all information is correct prior to sending to purchasing for order.
• Order and maintain all manufacturer samples in our showroom, making sure that we always have up to date samples for our Sales Department.
• Provide and ship samples to customers as needed.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text as needed throughout the project.
• Develop relationships with field supervisors for our builder customers to grow the relationship from the field to the office.
• Coordinate install scheduling with customer and Project Management as needed.
• Review and maintain job folders as required throughout the selling process making sure that all paperwork, signoffs, approvals, and submittals are all correct and complete in accordance with our SOP.
• Train on how to read plans/blueprints, all garage door models and accessories, our manufacturer’s estimate system, and Banko proposals.

You are skilled in your profession and you are confident in your abilities to demonstrate those skills, you are a team player, you are organized, and you have excellent work ethic. You are a detail-oriented self-starter, with solid organizational ability and strong math and computer skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
• Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Must be very detail oriented and organized

• Prior related office experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in admin or sales.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
