The Data Entry/Application Specialist contributes to ION Solar by accurately and efficiently gathering data from our CRM and applying that information to applications for Utility Companies, City or County Permitting Offices, and Homeowners Associations. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for reaching out to the necessary party for the follow-up to obtain approvals needed for moving forward with the solar process as well as communicating updates with the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Organize detailed applications for review through third-party submission committees or online portals.
- Review data for errors and correct information when applicable.
- Follow up with submittals on a weekly basis to determine approval status.
- Communicate with customers consistently to provide updates and answer questions.
- Coordinate with City, Utility, or HOA offices to ensure application information is current and accurate.
- Manage a queue of accounts through different steps of the application process
Requirements:
- Customer Service - 1 year (preferred)
- Proficient typing and transcription.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Reliability and regular attendance
- Can effectively prioritize, multi-task, and manage time well.
- Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems.
- Work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
