One Eighty / Leisure Care is a Seattle based company. We are currently hiring for the position of IT Systems Administrator to support the systems and infrastructure for 30+ servers, 800+ end users and 1200+ client devices across 40+ remote locations. Regular activities include configuring new equipment and services as well as installing and managing server and network architecture and configurations. The IT Systems/Network Administrator is also responsible for ensuring primary server/network routine maintenance and upgrades are being performed. They will also train employees in IT systems and participate as a member of an IT team in projects, programs and events.
Responsibilities
· Primary focus on performing the installation, configuration, maintenance and security of servers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points and other related hardware, software and SaaS services throughout the home office and 40+ remote locations.
For installations and configurations of our remote locations expect to rack and stack switches and firewalls, install access points, create and punch down cabling as needed, stage and place PC’s/Printers/Phones, install AV equipment as needed and various other tasks related to opening and/or acquiring a building.
· Managing and tracking projects as assigned by the IT Director.
· Act as an escalation point and mentor for the helpdesk support staff and some end-user support of desktop, laptop, and applications.
· Work and collaborate with other departments to support project planning, discovery, testing, implementation and deployment of business-critical services.
Other Duties
· Maintain documentation on the network relating to all hardware and software configurations, network configurations and user systems
· Conduct end-user training on new and upgraded systems and programs
· Assist in the recommendation, planning and implementation of new IT systems
· Act as a liaison to external contractors hired to perform IT-related functions
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the IT Director
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
· Servers
o Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop, SQL
o SharePoint, Exchange 2016, O365, Exchange Online
o Cisco UCS, Nimble Storage
o Hyper-V and VMWare
· Networking
o Ability to understand and troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting
o VLANs, Routing, IPSEC, Site to Site VPN, Cloudflare
o Ubiquiti/Unifi, Sophos XGS, Cisco Meraki, HP, Cisco ASA, Cisco Catalyst
· Other
o VOIP systems (support, design and implementations)
o Strong project management ability
o Strong communication and documentation skills
o Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
o Must be organized and can manage projects of varying length
o Must be a team player
Other requirements: Extensive Travel Required
- 2-3 trips per month
- Average of 3 days per trip
- Domestic US locations
- Possibly international in the future
· May sit or stand for long periods of time
· Lift and carry up to 50lb
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
· 3+ years in a similar System Administration role or equivalent preferred
· Network +, CCNA, CCENT Certification a plus
· Microsoft Certification (MCSA) or equivalent certification a plus
