The IT Systems Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on optimal IT solutions, delivering technical assistance, resolving end user issues and when necessary, serving as a liaison between end users and advanced support teams. This position entails responsibilities such as software and hardware installation and configuration, proactive monitoring of IT systems, and efficient troubleshooting of issues that arise.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining our information technology systems and networks. This is a full-time on-site position, no remote workavailable. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our computer and telecom systems.

As an IT Systems Coordinator, you must have extensive knowledge of software, hardware, and networks. You will be responsible for performing both technical and administrative tasks, requiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Effective end user support and teamwork are vital components of this role, so excellent communication and people skills are required to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Manage, support, and maintain:

• All aspects of systems infrastructure and enterprise IT services (e.g., web, email, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and balance the daily business-as-usual problems and requests against the short- and long-term goals of the organization.
• Vendor Access Requests
• All computer/network components including servers, network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and work stations
• Security camera systems
• Phone systems
• All Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration with staff as well as peers, management, and senior leadership.
• Work with other employees, supervisors, managers, and executives to move concepts, projects, and work assignments toward successful completion in a timely manner.
• Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of infrastructure procurement and development efforts.
• Assist with the management, planning, and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
• Practice IT asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation.
• Work with end-users proposing new hardware and software solutions.
• Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production.
• Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues.
• Implement automated solutions plant-wide.
• Communicate Plant Systems Outages and Notices.
• Analyze software issues, installation, and testing of applications software/patches.
• Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues.
• Support Corporate IT with projects and tasks as assigned.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
