Job Summary
Benton County is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their IT team.
Benton County IT is a collaborative team of 20+ professionals. We take pride in our work and our support to the County. We help lead the adoption of new technology while maintaining a friendly work environment and work life balance.
Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst performs technical systems analysis and requirements documentation for Information Technology projects and processes. This position is responsible for working with internal and external customers to translate and document business and operational requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will also analyze data requirements and reporting needs, develop recommended systems solutions, and translate requirements to user stories in Agile framework. May participate in systems tests to ensure conformance with system specifications.

  • Annual salary range of:
    • $72,462 - $97,780
    • This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. An Increase may be given at the end of the 6-month probationary period, depending on starting salary, and at the 1-year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Annual performance-based increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.

    Minimum Qualifications
    The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, business administration, or other IT related field of study ; AND
    • 5 years of professional experience in Business Systems analysis, information technology or related field.

    An equivalent combination of closely related education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.
    Special Requirements:
    • Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
    Ideal Candidates will have:
    • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development
    • Experience developing and eliciting software requirements
    • Experience writing user stories
    • Knowledge of SDLC
