Job Title:IT System Administrator
Duties
- Responsible for all research, planning, building, and delivery of IT infrastructure for a small 17-person office
- Responsible for setup, configuration, training of staff, and managing the Office 365 ecosystem of products including SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive for Business
- Setup and manage hosted Open-PBX VoIP phones for all staff which includes custom dial menus, caller ID, managed fax services, and call groups
- Actively manage and maintain the company's network and environment that includes Windows 2012 Server Essentials, Active Directory, Windows 10 workstations, Ubiquiti Router, Cisco Managed Switch, APs, wireless security, guest network, OpenVPN infrastructure, and any other IT related projects as needed.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, laptops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
- Design and deploy networks
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
- Maintain system efficiency
- Ensure the design of system allows all components to work properly together
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users
- Make recommendations for future upgrades
- Make recommendations for and purchase equipment as needed
- Maintain network and system security
- Monitor compliance with HIPAA and HITECH
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users
- Evaluate and modify system's performance
- Identify user needs
- Activate new users and deactivate exiting users
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
- Maintain company website and complete updates as needed
Requirements
- Associate degree, related technical training, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in an IT or help desk role.
- Strong problem solving and vendor management skills, well organized and detail oriented.
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems.
- Experience with Open-PBX, Windows Server 2012, Office 365, Share point, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and QoS.

Salary: $55 per hour
