Your opportunity:
The dynamic role of IT Specialist/SharePoint Administrator focuses on comprehensive helpdesk support and SharePoint optimization. This position is based in Seattle, Washington and plays a crucial role in supporting Herrera’s operations across our 5 offices in the western United States. In this role we will count on you to:
- Support hardware, software, and systems in a Microsoft Windows and Office365 environment
- Serve as a liaison between staff, our managed services consultant, and IT/US/SAS vendors
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support by responding to emails, documenting issues, and tracking and routing issues via a ticket tracking system
Other duties you will be responsible for:
- Providing network, server maintenance, and telecommunications support, as well as desktop and application support
- Administering Office365 SharePoint project sites and infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting SharePoint
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong technical skills in mobile and computer technology
- Capacity to quickly learn new systems and solve complex technical problems with creativity
- Ability to perform analysis and research of various technologies independently
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including coordinating effectively with multiple Herrera offices and field teams, managed services provider, and in-house Information Systems Director
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Office 365, MS servers, networking protocols, and troubleshooting
- Work experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft-based enterprise applications and systems
- Familiarity with multiple domain environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent technical certification
- Powershell and scripting languages experience
- Mobile device management and troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud databases, such as Azure
- Experience administering SAS platforms such as Deltek VantagePoint, ESRI, Projectwise, and Github

- This position is salaried and exempt from overtime; the salary range is $72,500 - $92,500 annually
