Job Title: IT Intern

This position will provide technical support for CORE Health and Community House on Broadway staff at all locations. The IT Intern position works closely with the organizations contracted IT Administrator and will provide additional support to that position by working directly with the staff onsite.
Typical Work
- Identifies and corrects various equipment malfunctions.
-Maintains and tracks the organization's equipment.
- Administers and maintains company accounts with vendors and contractors.
- Manages equipment ordering and inventory
- Responsible for invoice workflow
- Assists Core Health’s contracted IT expert with projects.
- Meet with vendors for equipment and software installations.
- Facilitate training and orientation with new staff to company equipment and programs.
-Train staff on the organizations secured systems, including but not limited to secure emailing, the remote desktop and additional computer systems.
- Assures the organization’s equipment inventory is sufficient to meet the needs of the staff.
- Provide support to staff facing difficulty with their equipment.
- Participates in a team work environment.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Preferred
- General IT understanding with the ability to navigate various equipment and a basic understanding of the supporting infrastructure.
- Proficient in computer use and applications commonly used or applied in this field/trade/position for the development of reports, documents, presentations and access/utilize databases for care management and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to take instruction readily and aptitude for learning and applying lessons and direction.
- Pass and maintain a clear background record as required for healthcare organizations under state and federal contracts.

Minimum

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.24 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
