Reporting to the COO, you will provide project management oversight for new client onboardings, vendor software installs and upgrades, Microsoft 365 deployments, and large infrastructure related deployments.
Under the COO's direction, the IT Project Manager provides leadership and project management for internal and client-driven projects. Job responsibilities include management and delivery of all aspects of a project. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project team tasks to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units and clients. You will manage resources, schedules, and financials throughout the full project development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The IT Project Manager contributes to process improvement initiatives as they relate to improving project delivery and service to clients.
You will need:
- PMP Certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years as a technical IT Project Manager with at least 2 years’ experience within a formal program management office.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system support.
- Good understanding of the business or function of relevant applications Prelude supports and/or designs is preferred.
- Experience in project management of Microsoft 365 deployments is recommended.
- Knowledge of PM tools for project scheduling, cost management, and communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, divide tasks into manageable units of work, make logical resource assignments based on technology, monitor progress, and negotiate task and staffing levels to meet cost and time constraints.
- Excellent organizational skills. Has ability to contribute to multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written, oral, and listening communication skills.
- Good knowledge of company’s business and technology supported by the company.
- Leadership and team building skills.
- Good understanding of business impact of technology on profitability and client satisfaction.
- Limited travel to client locations will be required.
