POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager, IT manages all aspects of projects across IT application and technical teams in partnership with business units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for the delivery of projects:
  • Manage overall coordination of projects, from planning through implementation
  • Facilitate project scope, deadlines and delivery schedule including task definition and assignments
  • Facilitate project stakeholder input and updates (analysts, programmers, clients)
  • Manage, monitor, and report project progress
  • Facilitate project team meetings, steering meetings, and requirements workshops
    • Team meetings may be in the form of scrum meetings
• Responsible for the overall success of projects assigned
• Effectively prioritize and communicate all aspects of the project – Time, Resources, Scope, Cost, Risk
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and Business partners
• Ensure all project documentation meets Project Governance standards
• Ensure project and development standards are applied as appropriate
• Contribute to updates and maintain Project Governance Standards
  • Includes transitioning the team from a waterfall to agile methodology
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Smartsheet is preferred
• Additional duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
• 6+ years progressive IT experience required
• Experience with project and technology life cycle management including use of project management software and standard office productivity suite
• Retail cross functional experience and domain experience in multiple areas with enterprise in purchased software applications and third party implementation partners
• Ability to manage multiple medium to large projects simultaneously
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
