Duties, Responsibilities & Other- Manage medium complexity projects or a portfolio of small- to medium-sized projects
- Successfully manage scope, schedule and budget while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Develop and maintain project management plans and other required project management artifacts
- Lead project teams from project initiation through closeout
- Follow guidelines, best practices, conventions, techniques, and industry standards for project management
- Directly engage with and influence customers
- Lead development of proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Support business development and marketing initiatives by meeting with customers and prospective customers, attending industry events, and giving presentations
- Mentor associate Project Managers
- Supervise staff, as assigned
- Provide performance feedback to project staff and supervisors of staff
- Operate independently
- Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as required/assigned
- This position is remote if desired, but must live within 3 hours of Harrisburg, PA
- Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, geography, design, marketing, business, or related field is required. Experience may be substituted for degree.
- Minimum three years of experience in a project management role
- Minimum five years of professional experience in the areas of business advisory, data & analytics, solutions and/or software engineering, and/or IT infrastructure engineering
- Experience providing consulting services is strongly preferred
- Experience in utilities, facilities, transportation, water, and/or state/local government markets is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience to learn quickly and apply new technologies to solve problems
- Ability to develop and maintain deep knowledge of customers, data, business, and markets
- Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional certification is preferred
- Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
