Duties, Responsibilities & Other
  • Manage medium complexity projects or a portfolio of small- to medium-sized projects
  • Successfully manage scope, schedule and budget while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain project management plans and other required project management artifacts
  • Lead project teams from project initiation through closeout
  • Follow guidelines, best practices, conventions, techniques, and industry standards for project management
  • Directly engage with and influence customers
  • Lead development of proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP)
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives by meeting with customers and prospective customers, attending industry events, and giving presentations
  • Mentor associate Project Managers
  • Supervise staff, as assigned
  • Provide performance feedback to project staff and supervisors of staff
  • Operate independently
  • Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
  • Complete other duties as required/assigned
  • This position is remote if desired, but must live within 3 hours of Harrisburg, PA
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, geography, design, marketing, business, or related field is required. Experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a project management role
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in the areas of business advisory, data & analytics, solutions and/or software engineering, and/or IT infrastructure engineering
  • Experience providing consulting services is strongly preferred
  • Experience in utilities, facilities, transportation, water, and/or state/local government markets is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience to learn quickly and apply new technologies to solve problems
  • Ability to develop and maintain deep knowledge of customers, data, business, and markets
  • Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional certification is preferred
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
