CorVel is looking for a methodical, analytically minded manager to lead our Office 365 Team. The team is responsible for managing O365 Applications while maintaining high security standards and implementing industry best practices. Candidates should have a strong grasp of Microsoft's Office 365 Applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
Along with a background in Microsoft technologies with a security focus, the manager of this team will need strong organizational skills to fully understand, plan, and execute projects with numerous stakeholders across multiple teams. Responsibilities include assisting in daily operations, serving as an escalation point for other members, updating and creating new processes, and road mapping future requirements.
Part of the team is based in Portland, OR and part of the team is remote. The manager may work remote from within the Pacific or Mountain time zone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of primarily Office 365 Systems Administrators responsible for delivering IT solutions in a secure manner.
- Apply system knowledge to diagnose and fix complex problems.
- Perform requirements analysis, design reviews, and documentation.
- Provide reliable estimates of effort and good identification of risks.
- Apply sound IT Engineering processes, with a focus on security and best practices.
- Stay current with technology and industry best practices.
- Provide hands on technical role.
- Communicate changes and challenges with IT management staff.
- Provide project management for team.
- Work with minimal supervision towards the common goals for the department.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Administration
- Microsoft SharePoint Online Administration.
- Microsoft Teams
- Proofpoint
- Power Platform
- Microsoft Defender for O365
- Experience managing complex mail routing and troubleshooting mail flow.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiar with working in a zero trust, least privileged model.
- Experience researching enterprise solutions to address enterprise security and compliance.
- Experience suggesting system and/or infrastructure changes using analysis from security assessments, vendor best practices, and/or compliance standards.
- Must be self-directed, analytical, adept to problem solving, and have a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality solutions under tight and strict deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of management experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience.
- 5+ years of technical experience.
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
Pay Range: $65,450 – $129,456
