The IT Project Manager works to ensure alignment, provide direction and communication that drives outcomes for project team members, leaders, and other partners. This Manager will ensure IT project results contribute positive business value and meet agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and preferred business outcomes. The PM encourages the team with a positive and collaborative leadership style and engages with executives, business collaborators, and partners throughout all levels of the company to run assigned projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain lifecycle project plans including: documentation, resource prioritization, forecasting, planning, issue/risk, organizational change, meeting facilitation, and status reporting for site network installations
  • Navigate projects to successful completion by influencing partners at various levels. Ensure successful delivery of projects by overcoming project obstacles that pose a risk to project completion
  • Influences key partners across all functions and at all levels to acquire the highest level of initiative or project adoption. Communicate to various levels within the organization, including executives
  • Coordinate with multi-functional teams and third party partners to ensure flawless integration of networking equipment, telephony systems, PCs, printers, and mobile devices while ensuring quality assurance processes are in place to measure accurate functioning of all installed IT equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors to find effective solutions to challenges, minimizing disruptions to project timelines. Strong vendor leadership skills are a necessity
  • Operate as a collaborative team member, asking for and providing support and being open to both giving and receiving feedback

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrable understanding of project methodologies as well as application or infrastructure development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to collaborate with numerous partners across multiple departments with experience installing network equipment across various locations simultaneously
  • Experience with expectation setting, action planning, and developing team members
  • Excellent organizational skills required, PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience managing or exposure to project budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting
  • Ability to use business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to identify and select among varied courses of action
