Hiring: IT Manager
Pay: $120,000/yr.
Shift: Monday through Friday days, some nights and weekends.
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Role)
As a company IT Manager you will manage (plan, organize, lead and control) a team of IT resources (database/BI lead, web application analyst, and, end-user support analyst), outsourced vendor services (SaaS application vendors, application partners, systems and network engineering), and, design, develop, implement and operate systems interfaces that integrate disparate platforms for franchise management, accounting, supply chain, and Point of Sale (POS).
The IT Manager will oversee staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, providing direction and prioritization of activities based on business need. Ensures that projects are planned and tracked toward meeting their milestones and adhering to approved budgets. The IT Manager will be the point of escalation for resolving end-user problems, and, will provide the documentation and training needed to empower the user to be more tech savvy and independent.
The IT Manager will position themselves as a trusted advisor to the functional and departmental leadership team and management, earning their trust through effective communications and follow through. They will analyze existing operating procedures and determine development and quality improvement plans. They will manage supplier contracts, maintenance agreements and upgrades, managing IT expenses and contributing to the annual budgeting process.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT and store support teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop IT staff, focusing on skills related to both technical support and customer service.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
- Develop IT strategies that align with overall business objectives, with a particular focus on enhancing store-level operations.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
- Ensure the continuous operation of IT systems across all stores, with particular attention to POS systems, network infrastructure, and other critical store-level technologies.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software in stores, ensuring all components are functioning optimally.
- Provide specialized support for POS systems, ensuring all transactional and operational functionalities meet store requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS systems promptly to minimize downtime and customer inconvenience.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect store and customer data, with a strong focus on POS system security and PCI compliance.
- Conduct regular security audits and updates to safeguard against threats.
- Manage contracts and relationships with technology providers, ensuring they deliver value and meet the needs of each store.
- Develop and manage budgets for store IT needs, including POS systems, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Manage IT projects with an emphasis on store integration and support, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal impact on daily operations.
- Oversee the integration of POS systems with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across store operations.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science (or software engineering) required
- 5+ years of technical experience
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- 5+ years of store systems experience (Micros POS, Clover/Bypass POS)
- 5+ years of supply chain systems and technology
- 3+ years of experience w/PCI DSS requirements and solutions.
- Must have strong QA experience.
