Intern - Facilities Management

Our program provides a paid internship opportunity starting at $20.00 per hour, along with a hybrid work schedule that offers the best of both worlds. You will work in the office for four days a week, collaborate with your team, and grow your skills. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work from home, one day a week. Our program runs from June 5th, 2024, to August 9th, 2024, and we expect our interns to commit to the entire program duration.

What you will do:

• Oversee Facilities global contracts and documents.
• Liaison and coordination with Jazwares' in-house and outside counsel.
• Work in tandem with Facilities Director on all requests.
• Maintain Property Management relationships with all global offices and third party Landlord-owned facilities.
• Document and maintain all new Headquarters contracts and vendors.
• Implementation of enhanced global property abstracts.
• Assist in maintaining our workplace infrastructure, creating a safe, healthy, efficient and welcoming environment for our Jazmanians, to continue providing a house for creative energy to thrive.
• Work in tandem with Facilities Manager on all requests.
• Assist in high-level planning for events, including catering onsite and for offsite.
• Assist Facilities Manager prioritizing and responding to employee requests.
• Assist maintaining Property Management relationship at Florida properties.
• Assist with implementation of space and usage at Florida properties.
• Assist with effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure

• Physical Requirements: Light; Lifting up to 25 lbs., must be able to sit at desk for long periods of time

What we are looking for: 

• Currently, enrolled college student who has completed at least one year of school at an accredited university or college majoring in Hospitality or Facilities Management.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite.
• Must be able to clear a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner.
