Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with various developmental and physical challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor and document progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans as needed.
- Support students in developing essential life skills, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-regulation techniques.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to contribute to educational planning.
Caseload/Details:
- K-12th grade
- 30 students
Special Requirements:
- LA OT License
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
