DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role holds a pivotal position overseeing and directing the Community Services Program for individuals with developmental disabilities in a defined region of Pennsylvania. As the RPM, you will be entrusted with planning, organizing, and coordinating regional operations to ensure effective service delivery, compliance with regulations, and the overall health and welfare of individuals in the program. The position involves extensive leadership responsibilities, including advising executive staff, participating in decision-making processes, and managing various aspects of program quality, risk management, and compliance. The RPM plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing policies, providing supervision and mentoring to regional staff, and addressing issues related to incidents, audits, and community placements. The position requires making critical decisions on matters such as funding oversight, policy approval, and responses to legislative inquiries, showcasing the RPM's influence in shaping the direction and success of the Office of Developmental Programs in their assigned region.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You are required to report to the office in Philadelphia one (1) day per month and travel within the commonwealth as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six years of professional experience providing, developing, or evaluating human services programs to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, which includes two years in a supervisory capacity; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes two years of professional supervisory experience serving the needs of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
