POSITION SUMMARY: The Aging and Independent Living Program Manager I will work independently and collaboratively to plan, implement, and manage activities designed to improve the stability and health of seniors across domains, programs, and contracts including developing culturally appropriate services to meet client needs of diverse and underprivileged populations. The position includes working with diverse communities, organizations, and funders to build alliances around common goals to create collective impact, healthy aging, and Independent Living.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Selects, trains, evaluates,develops, coaches, and supervises program staff in collaboration with HR Business Partner and the program director.
- Develops contract compliant operational services to meet client needs, and ensures the day-to-day operations of the Senior Services programs according to the contractual requirements.
- Works closely with the funders and shared services to manage budgets, sub-contracts and spending plans.
- Represents the programs and agency in the stakeholders/providers meetings.
- Works with the funders on contract implementation and negotiation. f. Identifies partnerships and funding opportunities and promotes relationship-building among agencies and other organizations, agencies, and/or individuals.
- Monitors program activities and the data; Tracks performance outcomes; manages compliance according to the contractual requirements; updates and implements program policies and procedures, performance quality indicators (PQIs) and quality assurance measures and outcomes. h. Serves as a liaison to external partners, stakeholders, and other community organizations, and acts as representative of the agency at diverse community meetings.
- Works closely with HR Business Partner to ensure efficient program hiring operations. j. Ensures client service delivery meets the requirements of federal, state, and regulatory agencies and external review organizations as required.
- Manages and monitors financial compliance. l. Utilizes electronic health record systems and ensures program databases are complete, up-to-date, and monitors regularly. m. Ensures client service delivery meets the requirements of federal, state, and regulatory agencies, including management of internal and external audits.
- Develops, coordinates and manages program budgets, billing and invoices in collaboration with the District Director to meet program expectations in quality service and fiscal control.
- Manages the process for client/employee complaints and grievances in accordance with agency policies. p. Collects data and prepares statistical and progress reports to ensure compliance funder-required systems and processes.
- Ensures client files are complete and accurate; in accordance with LCSNW policies, and federal, WA State, regulatory agencies and external review organizations as required.
- Collaborates with the leadership to implement program budgets. s. Works as needed with the leadership to develop and implement strategic plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The positions minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in social services, business or a closely related field of study, plus the following minimum experience:
- 1 year of experience developing culturally appropriate services to meet client needs of diverse and underprivileged populations
- 1 year of experience utilizing electronic health record systems
- 1 year of experience developing contract compliant operational services to meet client needs
- 1 year of experience developing and supervising social services-program staff
- 1 year of experience developing and implementing performance quality indicators (PQI) and quality assurance measures and outcomes.
All experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary rangeis : $63,004.11/year- $87,605.93/year for full-time employment.
