The Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board is seeking a Program Manager for the Southeastern Family Project.
The Southeastern Family Project, SEFP, is a licensed comprehensive residential program for pregnant and postpartum women diagnosed with a Substance Use Disorder. Gender specific Substance Use treatment services are provided in a healthy, stable and secure residential environment. The program is designed to serve residents based on individual need in a person-centered treatment environment which encourages stabilization. A holistic approach to prevention, intervention, support and treatment is provided to foster the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being for the women and families.
Position Requirements: Master's Degree in in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology or Counseling) and Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) by the Virginia Board of Health Professions and must be registered with the Board of Counseling to practice as a QMHP-A. Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience in a residential treatment environment is a plus.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
