Position Details: Full Time (40 hours/ work week); Hourly; Nonexempt
Overall Descriptions of the Position:
Intake Coordinators at The Gori Law Firm are responsible for establishing a professional and supportive rapport with potential clients. They conduct initial client screenings and determine client eligibility.
Skill & Abilities:
- 6-12 months customer service experience, preferred
- Competent to Proficient knowledge and demonstrated skill set in:
- MS Office Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Typing, saving and documenting pertinent information
- Communicating effectively over the phone and through email
- Must be articulate and personable in order to converse with potential clients
- Ability to listen and process information to extract key information/facts from potential clients
- Self-motivated and well-organized
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to client needs
- Punctual and predictable attendance
- Job duties must be regularly performed in the office
- Prior experience or knowledge in the following preferred:
- Compassionate and focused customer service skills
- Nursing or other medical background
- Medical terminology and/or legal proceedings
- Data entry
Position Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Communicate with potential clients to gather information and determine eligibility.
- Initiate intake procedures for clients who meet eligibility requirements.
- Scan, save, and file information into document management and client management systems.
- Communicate with coworkers and clients via email, phone calls and texts, and document this communication for future reference.
- Gather data from various filings and input data into several databases.
- Cover caseload in the absence of another team member.
- Review documents from various sources and extract key information.
Education, Certificates and Licenses:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
