Your Role:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, both over the phone and in person, providing a welcoming and supportive experience.
- Collect, verify and record client information accurately in our electronic health records (HER( system.
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and provide patients with necessary information about their visits.
- Coordinator with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth patient intake process.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide administrative support, including handling patient inquires, managing correspondence, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the intake process.
- Assign clients to the most appropriate clinician for their needs or assist in providing with the most appropriate external referral.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
· Previous experience in a healthcare setting, especially in an administrative or customer service role, is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in using EHR systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
· Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
· A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
