Intake Coordinator Home Healthcare
Duties:
-
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with medical record management and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Axxess
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or intake coordinator in a dental or medical office preferred
- Familiarity with Home Health l terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as axxess
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
