Intake Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive intake calls with new patients/incoming clients to assess their needs and match them with the most suitable provider based on clinical fit.
• Collaborate with the insurance department to verify new patient insurance benefits.
• Provide support to providers with matters of scheduling, technology, and coordinating patient care.
• Assist active patients with billing, scheduling, and technology matters.
• Manage an inventory of active patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Support the maintenance of office supplies and maintain an office environment conducive to patient care.
• Facilitate billing procedures, including the timely processing of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and incoming payments.
• Analyze data to generate referral reports.
• Participate in meetings with local behavioral health organizations as part of clinical outreach efforts.
• Assist in the onboarding of new providers by informing them of the practice's intake protocols and operational standards.

• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to multitask and navigate several projects at once.
• Organized with proficiency in organization methods such as spreadsheets.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
